Acceptable Use Policy
The rules for using the JB Grocers website, your account and any AI-assisted features.

1. Purpose
This Acceptable Use Policy sets out what you may and may not do when using the website, accounts and services of JB GROCERS LLP (LLPIN ACN-1099). It forms part of, and is governed by, our Terms of Service, and reflects our due-diligence obligations under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
2. Prohibited content
You must not upload, submit or transmit through any form, message, review or chat any content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, harassing or hateful;
- infringes intellectual-property, privacy or other rights of any person;
- is false, misleading, or a fake or manipulated review;
- contains malware, or is designed to harm, disrupt or gain unauthorised access; or
- is otherwise prohibited under Rule 3 of the IT Rules, 2021 or any applicable law.
3. Prohibited conduct
- scraping, crawling, harvesting or using bots to extract data or place automated orders;
- attempting to access, probe or bypass our hardened admin portal, role-based access controls or any security measure;
- interfering with, overloading or disrupting the Services or their infrastructure;
- impersonating any person or entity, or misrepresenting your business or authority; and
- using another user’s account, or sharing your credentials, without authorisation.
4. Use of AI features
Where we provide AI-assisted features (such as chat or search), you must not use them to generate unlawful, infringing or abusive content, to attempt to extract confidential or system information, or to evade these rules. AI outputs are assistive only and are not professional advice — see our Disclaimer.
5. Lawful, business use only
The Services are provided for legitimate B2B wholesale use. You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with all applicable laws, including tax, food-safety and trade regulations relevant to your business.
6. Reporting violations
If you become aware of any content or conduct that breaches this policy, please report it to sachingoel24@gmail.com or to our Grievance Officer (see the Privacy Policy).
7. Consequences of breach
We may remove or disable access to offending content, and suspend or terminate accounts that breach this policy, with or without notice. We may also report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities and cooperate with lawful investigations under the IT Act, 2000.
