1. Scope
This Shipping & Delivery Policy explains how JB GROCERS LLP (LLPIN ACN-1099) delivers wholesale orders, and is published to give pre-purchase clarity as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020. Online ordering is being rolled out (“Coming Soon”); this policy applies in full at the e-commerce go-live.
2. Service area
We deliver to HORECA business addresses within our serviced delivery zones in and around Pune, Maharashtra. Availability for a specific address is confirmed at checkout or by our team. Deliveries are made to verified business accounts only.
3. Dispatch and lead times
Orders are prepared once confirmed as a Sales Order in our ERPNext system. Delivery is typically scheduled on the next available delivery run for your zone, subject to order cut-off times, stock availability and your account’s delivery schedule. Estimated windows are indicative and may vary with demand, weather or logistics conditions.
4. Delivery charges
Any delivery charge, and the order value threshold above which delivery is included, is shown before you confirm an Order and on your tax invoice. Charges, where applicable, are inclusive of GST as required by law.
5. Cold-chain handling
Temperature-sensitive and perishable Goods are handled with appropriate care during storage and transit. To preserve quality, please ensure a recipient is available to receive and refrigerate such Goods promptly on delivery.
6. Receipt, inspection and risk transfer
Goods must be received and signed for by you or an authorised recipient. Risk passes to you on delivery or collection. Please inspect the consignment at handover and note any shortage, damage, wrong or expired item on the delivery record before signing — see our Refund Policy.
7. Partial deliveries
Where part of an Order is unavailable, we may deliver available items and supply or credit the balance separately. Any such split will be reflected in your delivery documentation and invoicing.
8. Failed or missed deliveries
If delivery cannot be completed because no authorised recipient is available, the address is inaccessible, or details are incorrect, we will attempt to reschedule. Repeated failed attempts for perishable Goods may result in those Goods being treated as delivered or in a re-delivery charge.
